Do you want to camp? Rock climb? Ski? Build campfires? Use a pocket knife? Tie knots? Cook in the outdoors? Earn rank and merit badges including the Eagle Scout Badge? Join Troop 1581, a Scouts BSA Troop for girls.<\/p>\n\n\n

How Does it Work?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We meet Monday nights from 6:30-8 PM at St. Paul the Apostle in Tullahoma.  We will have at least one optional activity (like camping) a month.  We are youth-led.  Girls will elect youth leadership and plan and conduct meetings and outings.  Adults will help make their vision come to life and keep them safe. Come to any meeting to see what we’re like.<\/p>\n\n\n

How Much Does it Cost?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

National registration is $87 a year plus troop dues of $50 a year.\u00a0 There are additional costs for the optional monthly adventures. Members are entitled to see our budget so they know how the dues are being spent. Fundraising opportunities will be available to help girls offset costs, and financial aid is available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How Can Parents Help?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adult help is welcome and essential, men and women, but we need at least one woman leader on every outing.  Adults can help as Assistant Scoutmasters or join the Troop Committee.  <\/p>\n\n\n
